Rice is so fun to play with and you can dye it to make fun colors.
Put rice in a bin/pan with spoons, measuring cups, funnels, bottles.
You can, also, hide objects in the rice and let the kid match them up later.
To dye the rice, I mix rice, rubbing alcohol, and Food coloring. Then lay it out on cookie sheets to dry. Then repeat for each color you want.
It could be something like foam letters/numbers. Or puzzle pieces. Or Printouts you laminate.
