I made this for teacher appreciation and it was a hit!
I usually do it in my Instant Pot. And I pretty much follow the recipe exactly but I don’t use bacon. No good reason… I just haven’t/don’t. I have made this with pork sausage and chicken. Both are good!
If you do it in the IP. Sauté the meat, then add everything except the kale and cream/milk. Pressure cook for about 7 minutes. Once that’s done, you can add the cream and kale. Top with cheese.
