When we are going our with the kids to a “not kid friendly” place, we try to pack a bag with quiet toys/books/games/coloring stuff to keep them entertained. Oh, and snacks. Don’t forget snacks.
We call it our Mary Poppins Bag. It’s always changing and forever evolving but it has saved us many times.
Any bag will do. And you can put just about anything in it.
These days, we even have G pack her own. She gets her little backpack and throws snacks and some stuff in there.
We try to keep a few easy things in the back of the car along with some diapers and wipes. Because you never know what the day will bring.
