We go through a ton of rags. So many faces and hands to wipe. Plus dishes, counters, floors, high chair, etc, etc, etc. The list is endless.
I try hard to avoid paper towels.
Here’s what we keep in the kitchen to help reduce paper towel use.
washcloth – these live near the espresso machine but I use them all over
baby washcloths – I keep a drawer full of baby washcloths like these for faces and hands. I often use damp ones instead on napkins for the kids. Don’t get the really thin ones. They don’t work as well as ‘fluffy’ ones.
I, also, keep Norwex cloths for antibacterial.
Don’t get me wrong, we will use paper towels but this definitely helps us reduce how many by A LOT.
